Audit Trail

The Audit Trail is a chronological log of every action performed by team members inside a project. It records who did what and when — giving project administrators full visibility into changes made to articles, categories, settings, team members, and more.

Use the Audit Trail to investigate unexpected changes, verify that a specific action was performed, or review the activity of a particular team member.

Who can use this?

Only project administrators can view the Audit Trail. Editors and Authors do not have access.

Accessing the Audit Trail

1. Make sure you have an active project selected in your dashboard.

2. In the left navigation menu, go to User → Audit Trail.

3. The page loads the last 7 days of activity by default.

The logs will be available for up to 90 days.

Filtering the log

Use the filter bar at the top of the page to narrow down results:

Start Date / End Date— show only records within a date range.

Action Type — filter by a specific action keyword (partial match).

User Name— filter by a team member's name or email (partial match).

Click Filter to apply. Click Clear to reset all filters and return to the default view.

Limits and constraints

The Audit Trail is read-only Log entries cannot be edited or deleted.
Only actions performed by authenticated team members are recorded. Actions performed by readers on the public portal are not included here.
